Stained Glass Window
The Methodist Church had to be razed in the 1960’s. It had 31 stained glass panels. Of these, 5 panels are displayed at the Clarke County Historical Museum and one of these relates to the Civil War. The panel is about 4 feet wide and 10 feet high. It is the GAR medal with images of soldiers on the sides. The Museum also has a Civil War Flag (regiment unknown) that is rolled up and very fragile. The Clarke County Museum is located on the south edge of town on Main Street or Highway 69. Photo taken 11/25/07.
