Cannon in Museum
This is a 3 inch ordnance rifle, M1861, cast at Phoenix Iron Company in 1864. The cannnon and carriage are in wonderful condition. It was formerly in a park and the carriage was falling apart. Richard Fishbaugh of Shenandoah, Iowa rebuilt and restored the cannon and carriage. It has been in the Traer Historical Museum since 1991. The Museum is at 514 2nd Street in the business district.
