This is a 3 inch ordnance rifle, M1861 manufactured at the Phoenix Iron Works in 1862. It has serial number 315 and weighs 816 pounds. The carriage and limber look great - the iron is original. The cannon is privately owned and is often in Civil War re-enactments as part of Scott's Tennessee Battery. The cannon owner is in the photo - taken 7/25/08.
