Last Soldier Adnah D. Bullock
The last soldier of Cass County was Adnah D. Bullock (1846-1941). He served as a Private in the New York 1st Light Artillery. On April 7, 2017, a marker was dedicated at his gravesite in the Atlantic Cemetery. Included in the final photo are members of the SUVCW Kinsman Camp #23 who participated in the ceremony to honor Private Bullock. The Atlantic Cemetery is at the east entrance of town off Highways 6/83. Take the west road in the cemetery - the location of the memorial is near the SW corner of the cemetery.Thank you to Marilyn Rittel for the photos.
