Civil War Monument
This handsome red granite monument is in the Clinton-Garfield Cemetery. It was dedicated on May 30, 1903. On the back side (not shown) is an inscription "In Memory of the Army Nurses." On the north side of the monument (not shown) is the inscription "Sacred to the Memory of our National Defenders." Thanks to SUVCW member Don McGuire for locating the monument and taking the photos. The cemetery is on the SE corner of Rolfe at 470th Street and 300th Avenue. Photos taken 10/20/17.
