Last Soldier George W. Albee
Private George Albee (1845-1938) was the last living soldier of Emmet County. He was buried in the Ocheyedan Township Cemetery in Osceola County. He served in Company E, 2nd Wisconsin Cavalry. The Cemetery is at Tanager Avenue and 5th Street. The gravesite is Block 5, Row 6 and Lot 6. Linda and Roy Linn placed the Last Soldier marker on 4/11/18.
