Last Soldier Myron E. Rowe
Private Myron Rowe (1847-1937) was the last living soldier of Crawford County. He served in Battery D, 1st Michigan Light Artillery. On April 29, 2018, a ceremony was held and a marker placed to honor Private Rowe. This included members of Kinsman Camp #23 plus one SUVCW member from Nebraska. The burial is in Oakland Cemetery in Denison, south of town off S. Main Loop.
