Last Soldier Llewellyn Lewis
Private Llewellyn Lewis (1845-1941) was the last living soldier of Hancock County. He is buried in Cerro Gordo County and is listed under both counties. He served in Company C, 16th Wisconsin Infantry Regiment. A last soldier marker was placed by Roy Linn on June 28, 2019. Thanks to Roy for providing the photo and information.
